Overaggressive Knocker Breaks Window



BUCKSPORT — Police summoned a Bucksport woman Feb. 27 for allegedly banging on the door of a Main Street residence so hard that a window broke.

Katie Vanscoy, 25, was summoned on a charge of criminal mischief.

Suspicious Person

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in a Franklin Street driveway Feb. 28.

The woman was lying in the driveway upset about moving, according to police.

Arrests

Casey Eaton, 23, Prospect, operating after suspension.

Kayla Kalel, 19, Orrington, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.

Vandalism

A School Street resident reported someone attempted to break into her home March 1.

When police arrived, they found someone had thrown a plastic storage container at the door, breaking a glass panel.

Damage was estimated at $25.

A local man reported someone had keyed his vehicle March 1.

Police said the man was not sure where the incident occurred. Damage was estimated at $250.

Accident

According to police, Dawn Lisowksi, 39, of Harrison backed her 2003 Chevrolet pickup into a parked 2007 Subaru in a Main Street parking lot Feb. 24.

Total estimated damage was $1,000.

Larceny

A Main Street resident reported the theft of $190 from her home Feb. 25.

Fraud

Police referred a local man to the Federal Bureau of Investigation after he reported someone was using his credit card number Feb. 25.Tobacco Product Violation

Police referred a 14-year-old girl to the town’s diversion program after she was found with cigarettes at the middle school Feb. 27.

Threats

An Edison Drive resident who reported receiving threats through an Internet social networking site Feb. 28 was told to notify the site’s administrators about the problem.

Suspicious Conditions

A Winterport resident reported hearing nearly 20 gunshots from across the river in Bucksport Feb. 25.

Police responded but did not hear any shots.
