“Fireball” Slated for March 21

LAMOINE — The Lamoine Volunteer Fire Department is gearing up for the second annual Hancock County Fireball, sponsored by The First.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 8 p.m. to midnight at The White Birches.

Proceeds from this year’s Fireball will go toward the replacement of the Lamoine Volunteer Fire Department’s utility truck. All local fire fighters from neighboring fire departments in Hancock County are invited to attend.

The night will include dancing with music by DJ Bill DaButler, raffles, free snacks, a cash bar and the crowning of the king and queen of the ball.

Advance ticket sales have begun, but to guarantee space, firefighters are encouraged to order their tickets early.

Tickets will also be sold at the door, however space is limited to 250 people.

Tickets cost $20 a person, $30 for a couple. A table for eight can be reserved for $115.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to dress comfortably, but no jeans or T-shirts will be allowed.

For tickets, call Jen at 460-9080 or Angie at 266-1555 or e-mail ticket orders to lamoinefd@yahoo.com.
