Maine State Police: Missing Trenton Woman Found

ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police found a woman, 79, who had wandered away from a Trenton residence July 29.


The woman suffers from short-term memory loss and becomes disoriented easily, Trooper Cliff Peterson said. She was found at a Bayside Road residence.

Sgt. Alden Bustard and his police dog Zach helped with the search as did Hancock County Sheriff’s deputies and Maine Marine Patrol officers.


A vehicle struck a bear on Route 3 in Trenton Friday, police reported. The bear ran into the woods. The car sustained $4,000 in damage.

A Lamoine resident called police Friday after clam diggers allegedly threatened someone with a clam hoe.

Keovilaisack Sayasane, 43, Blue Hill, domestic violence terrorizing.

Kenneth Grant, 45, Deer Isle, criminal threatening.

Joseph Wadman, 49, Ellsworth, operating after suspension.

Scott Trundy, 22, Hancock, operating without a license.

Sheal Dedmon, 47, Sullivan, operating after suspension, failure to report an accident by quickest means, leaving scene of a personal injury accident.

Jennifer Grant, 35, Ellsworth, violating conditions of release.
