Actors Sought for “Being Earnest” Production



ELLSWORTH — The Grand and Ten Bucks Theatre Company of Brewer are teaming up to present a fully-staged production of Oscar Wilde’s play “The Importance of Being Earnest” in May.

Ben Layman is directing the play, which has five male and four female parts.

Auditions are being held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 2, and from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at The Grand. They will also take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, at Ten Bucks Theatre’s base at The Eddington-Clifton Civic Center (The Comins Hall, 1387 Main Road) in Eddington.
