Howard L. Lindsay, 82, died May 9, 1999, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor after an extended illness.

Survivors include a sister, Kay Wheeler of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, LeslieAnn Weber of Mt. Gilead, Ohio. He was predeceased by a brother, William N. Lindsay Jr., and his first wife, Monica.

Harold was a veteran of World War II, having served as a pharmacist mate. For a number of years, the Lindsays ran the Salmon Lodge in Cherryfield. Until recently, he resided at the Narraguagus Estates in Cherryfield.

No services will be held. Interment in Spring Grove Cemetery, Hanover, Mass.
